The 2011 Cannonbird Run is set in the majestic hill country of Central Texas. With rolling landscape, winding scenic roads, and an abundance of attractions for all ages, this years Cannonbird Run is sure to attract 1st Gen Firebird owners from coast to coast!
Fredericksburg, Texas is the epa center for this years Cannonbird Run. Fredericksburg is known for it's delicious peaches, fantastic downtown shopping, numerous landmarks and naturally beautiful backdrop setting. Fredricksburg is also nestled squarely between San Antonio & Austin. Only an hours drive either way, these 2 Texas cities will give this years Cannonbird Run attendees, families & friends many options to add to their trip!

2011 Cannonbird Run Hill Country/Winery Cruise
Along with it's natural beauty, the Texas Hill Country is also well know for it's award winning wineries. There are about a dozen in the vicinty. Towards the end of our 40+ mile cruise through the winding hill country roads, we will stop at 2 of the newer and eye catching wineries, Grapecreek & Pedernales Cellars. Car show -Texas BBQ - Live Music @ the Full Moon Inn
The Full Moon Inn is location for the Saturday car show, catered Texas style BBQ & live music. Capt. Matt Carinhas, owner of the Full Moon Inn has set us up in true hill country style! With air conditioned meeting room for the BBQ, and large front area with grand 'ol oak trees as car show spot,& stage for the band, the Full Moon Inn is THE perfect setting for this years Cannonbird Run.

One of the scheduled events for this years Cannonbird Run is the live performance of Austin areas own Mark Jungers Band! Mark & The Whistling Mules brand of country, folk, rock music will be a perfect backdrop to the Saturday evening after dinner relaxing and mingling time. Just an hours drive east of Fredericksburg, is Austin, the state capitol. Austin is well known for it's live music, beautiful lakes and lively night life.

San Antonio, Texas is another fantastic destination for the whole family to enjoy! Again, just about an hours drive south of Fredericksburg, San Antonio offers plenty for the Cannonbird Run attendees to do. With The Riverwalk, theme parks, The Alamo....San Antonio is sure to provide tons of fun for all!
